General Solar PV Code Requirements

1. Town has adopted the 2018 International Codes including IFC Section 605.11 Access & Ventilation
2. The snow load and ground snow load are 30 psf
3. The wind speed is 154 mph vult
4. Residences in Rock Creek must get their HOA approval
5. Electronic submittal and communication is permitted.

General Notes

• Installation of the electrical wiring shall be performed by a State of Colorado licensed electrician.
• The permit will be issued within 5 business days of a complete application and passing plan review.
• Permit fees of $300 are waived. The total cost of materials (before rebates) and installation must be listed on the permit for calculation of the use tax. 3.8% Local & County Tax.
• All Contractors are required to have a certificate of insurance on file with the Town of Superior named as certificate holder.
• The contractor shall call for a final inspection when the project is complete.
• If the final inspection passes, XCEL Energy is notified the same day.
