The Town of Superior employs a full-time Town Manager. The Town Manager is appointed by and is employed at the discretion of the Board of Trustees. The Town Manager oversees day to day operations of the Town and supervises both staff and contractors, including the following departments and divisions:
- Town Clerk
- Arts & History
- Disaster Preparedness and Recovery
- Economic Development
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Municipal Court
- Parks, Recreation and Open Space
- Planning & Building Department
- Public Safety
- Public Works & Utilities
- Sustainability
The Town Manager oversees planning, assists departments with program planning and implementation, assists staff in following new Board of Trustees directives. The Town Manager undertakes research at the direction of the Board and makes recommendations to the Board.
