The Town of Superior, City of Louisville and Boulder County EnergySmart will host a series of in-person workshops and networking events to help residents navigate the resources and tools available on the County's RebuildingBetter.org website and learn about rebates and incentives for rebuilding.
At the August 3 workshop, attendees will learn about the key decision points in the rebuilding process and when to make those decisions to maximize the incentives offered, including when to apply for rebates, grants, loans and when to bring in energy raters, builders and other members of the rebuilding team. Next, attendees will hear from a panel of energy raters about how raters work with homeowners and builders to maximize the energy efficiency of the home design. The August 3 workshop will include experts from Xcel Energy and the Colorado Energy Office to answer questions about the rebates, incentives, grants and loans available for rebuilding.
In response to feedback from workshops 1 and 2, this workshop will allow more time for Q&A with experts and networking. In person attendees are welcome to arrive early to speak with experts and get their specific questions answered.
