The Town of Superior hosts a number of events for the community each year. They are a great way to get out, meet your neighbors and enjoy the Superior community spirit!

2022 Superior Chili & Beer Fest

The Town of Superior and the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley are once again hosting the Town’s biggest event of the year. This year's event features two live bands, food trucks (selling non-chili items), beer, cider and seltzer sampling from local breweries, a super-sized kids' zone, and local vendors coordinated by the Superior Chamber. General entry is FREE. Beer Fest and VIP tickets are on sale now!

Purchase a beer fest ticket and sample some of the COOLEST Colorado beers and ciders. All proceeds will be donated locally in support of Marshall Fire recovery. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley! $35 advance online purchase. $40 day of at the gate.

VIP tickets include the full Chili & Beer Fest experience plus a diverse spread of delicious food and additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Kick back, relax, eat and drink under a shaded, private tent before heading back out for more Chili Fest fun! Hosted by Serendipity Tap & Café.

Community Chili Cook-off Competition - Sponsored by the Boulder Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant
This year's Superior Community Chili Cook-Off is registered as an International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned cook-off, winners have the potential to become 2023 qualifiers for the World Championship Chili Cook-off (WCCC) or receive a local ISC title. More details are provided on the following registration sites. The registration deadline is September 1st.

  • ICS members must register for the Superior Chili Cook-off through the ICS website: https://www.chilicookoff.com/. Please also use this website to learn more about ICS and to become a single-event member ($10). Registration for the cook-off is FREE.
  • Non-ICS members, please use this online form to register (or if you have issues with the ICS site)

People's Choice Chili Cook-off 
The People’s Choice competition is for area restaurants, food vendors and organizations (retirement community, school, etc.) and the winner will be determined by public vote.  Interested in joining? Email mikaelag@superiorcolorado.gov for more information.

Event Volunteers Needed!
These big events rely on volunteers to bring the community together; there is a role for everyone. Plus, volunteers get a free event t-shirt and chili mug!  Sign up here

Vendor Booths
Interested in hosting an event booth? Please use this link to coordinate through the Superior Chamber.

Zero Waste Event
The Town is working in partnership with community Green Teams to make this a zero waste event. Be sure to use one of the event zero waste stations and feel free to ask a Green Team member if you’re unsure which bin to toss your waste in!
