Efforts to support reconstruction in the wake of the Marshall Fire are rapidly evolving. The Town of Superior has engaged an outside consultant to help facilitate a series of community conversations with residents and property owners who lost their homes in the Marshall Fire. This effort is intended to help build a shared understanding of:
- Specific needs that exist in each of the affected areas
- Efforts that are currently underway or anticipated
- Resident and property owner interest in a range of possible strategies that could be pursued to help facilitate efficient and cost-effective redevelopment of affected areas
These conversations will help inform subsequent steps in the Marshall Fire Community Planning Effort, which are anticipated to include more targeted conversations with residents and property owners in each of the affected neighborhoods, and facilitate the implementation of community-supported strategies.
At this virtual meeting, residents will have an opportunity to ask questions through the Zoom Q&A tool. A recording of the meeting will be made available at www.superiorcolorado.gov on February 10 for those who are unable to attend. This meeting will not address debris removal or questions related to properties with smoke damage.
Take the Online Survey
The online survey is now available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Superior_Rebuild1. Please complete the survey by Monday, February 21.
Hard copies will also be available at Superior Town Hall, 124 E. Coal Creek. While some survey questions will be covered as part of the initial Community Meeting, the survey is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to provide more individualized (and anonymous) feedback.
