Celebrate the “Superior Spirit” with the Return of Pancakes and Kickball in this year’s Superior Fourth of July festivities. Monday, July 4^th, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Featuring ALL the Superior traditions (old and new): Superior Mile * Community Parade * Pancake Festival * and Community Center Celebration.

Superior Mile – Downhill Race: 7:00 a.m. - McCaslin Boulevard and Rock Creek
This year’s race will be extra special.  Run Boulder Events has volunteered to host this event as a community fundraiser. Same great race with all proceeds going to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Superior residents run for free! Visit the race webpage for more information and to REGISTER! Day of registration and packet pick up starts at 5:45am at the race start (corner of McCaslin and Rock Creek).

Community Parade: 8:30 a.m.
This year’s “Superior Spirit – Return of the Pancakes” themed parade is guaranteed to be entertaining. Float line up starts at 7:30 a.m. at Rock Creek Parkway & Indiana Street. The parade route will follow Rock Creek Parkway south to Coalton Road, ending at Community Park.

Pancake Festival: 9:00 a.m. – Community Park
Follow the parade to Community Park for the Return of the Pancakes!  Sponsored by Serendipity. Gluten-free pancakes available!
Also enjoy live music by The School of Rock, family-fun entertainment, and business vendors coordinated by the Superior Chamber.

Superior Community Kick Ball Tournament: 11:00 a.m. Championship game at Community Park 
This is a FREE, super fun event for all! Tournament games will be played July 3.

Community Center 4^th and 1-year Anniversary Celebration: 12:00
Pop over to the Superior Community Center for live music by FRANCIS AND THE WOLF and a classic Fourth of July BBQ. Hosted by Serendipity in honor of the Community Center and the Tap and Café’s one-year anniversary. Offering BBQ boxes for $10 and delicious 4th-themed cookies for $2, in addition to a full Café and Tap menu.
