Join us for the Town’s annual Arbor Day celebration and Ribbon Cutting for the new Purple Park playground. Spend the morning with family and friends and celebrate the 150th anniversary of the tree-planter’s holiday and another year of the Town’s Tree City USA designation. A fun community event for all ages – no green thumb required!
In addition to tree planting and celebrating, Here's WHAT TO EXPECT:

- Outdoor games and sports - Including disc golf
- Temporary glitter tattoo booth
- Music
- Seed packet giveaways - grab some wildflower seeds to attract our pollinator friends that help our trees
- Entertainment Provided by:
- Food Trucks (offering a full menu for purchase):
- Mountain View Fire Department will have a fire truck on site and host free car seat checks
- UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital Trauma Services will be providing Bike Helmet Fittings and Safety. Visit them for a new helmet!
- Community booths coordinated in partnership with the Superior Chamber

PARKING: Please plan to bike, walk or carpool as parking will be limited. Street parking is available on North Pitkin or at North Pool. NO street parking on Rock Creek Pkwy or South Pitkin – please respect the neighbors in this area.
WHAT TO BRING: WATER- we are planning for a beautiful, warm day! Maybe a blanket or chairs for a nice picnic.
