Race * Parade * Festival * Community Center Open House
Rock Creek Parkway will be closed southbound from McCaslin Boulevard to Coalton Road from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the Rock Creek Village shopping center parking lot will be inaccessible for a short time while the parade goes by, approximately 9:40 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Coalton Road will be fully closed west of Rock Creek Parkway to Rock Creek Circle until 1:00 p.m. to allow for a free flow of pedestrians between Community Park and the Community Center during the event.
*Walking and biking to the event is strongly encouraged as there is no sanctioned public parking*

Downhill Mile - first wave starts at 8:00 a.m. line up at McCaslin Boulevard and Rock Creek Parkway
Registration is now closed. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. at McCaslin Boulevard and Rock Creek Parkway and ends one mile down the parkway at 88th Street.
Please walk or bike to the race start!
Pick up your race packet Wednesday, June 30, 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. or Thursday, July 1, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the community center, 1500 Coalton Road. No race-day pick up.
Community Parade to Community Park- begins at 9:30 a.m. line up at Rock Creek Parkway and Indiana Street
Registration is now closed to participate in the parade. We are expecting 22 floats and walking groups and many more bicyclists in this year's Star-Spangled Superior parade, totaling nearly 500 participants!
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards given to parade participants.
Floats line up at 8:30 a.m., pedestrians and bikes line-up at 9:00 a.m. A limited supply of red, white and blue steamers and ribbons will be available for decorating your bike!
Parade will follow Rock Creek Parkway and end at Community Park. Premiere watching is between 88th Street and Coalton Road.
Parade watchers: Please watch from a safe distance off the street and off medians!
Live Music Fest in Community Park, 1350 Coalton Road – 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
After the parade, enjoy Colorado’s premier funk and soul band, The Burroughs, live on stage at Community Park!
About 10:30 a.m., the crowd will gather to watch the raising of the U.S. flag and stand for the National Anthem.
A variety of food trucks will be at the ready!
The Rainbow Militia will entertain young at art and the young alike!
