The Town of Superior hosts a number of events for the community each year. They are a great way to get out, meet your neighbors and enjoy the Superior community spirit!

Drive-In Concert Featuring Better Sensory Perception

 

 

The Superior Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is excited to present the first-of-its-kind drive-in live music concert in Superior. Come jam to the R&B, reggae, soul and funk sounds of Better Sensory Perception (formerly known as Byron Shaw Projex).

 

Saturday, September 26, Gates Open @ 4PM/Music @ 5-7PM

Tickets: $15 per vehicle or $15 per two bicycles. Buy one ticket per vehicle or one ticket per two bicycles.

About the Band: This eclectic band plays a variety of styles presenting a high energy show of great original reggae, funk, soul and R&B. Offering familiar cover songs that everyone loves and keeping things interesting! Imagine Bob Marley meets Prince at a Carlos Santana concert with James Brown and Aretha Franklin playing the after party!

Social Distancing Rules: This event follows Boulder County and State social distancing guidelines for drive-in events.
You will be required to agree to terms when purchasing a ticket, read the Terms and Conditions.

Food and Beverage: Food and beverages are available onsite starting when gates open at 4:00 p.m. Los Dos Bros food trucks is confirmed and a menu will be available for pre-orders soon!

Location: Superior Town 15 at the northeast corner of McCaslin Boulevard and Coalton Road 

Zero Trash: Please take your trash with you for the protection of our staff and volunteers.

Check-In Instructions

  • There will be no in-person ticket sales on the night of the show and space is limited.

  • Only attendees inside ticketed vehicles are allowed to attend this event. No on-foot patrons or groups
    will be permitted.

  • Gates open at 4:00 p.m., bicycles will be spaced in front, small to mid-sized vehicles in the middle and
    SUV’s in the back.

  • Enter the event from westbound Coalton Road.

  • Please tape your registration confirmation to your driver’s side window for the check-in staff to
    check you in at the entry. Do not roll your window down at check-in unless directed by staff.

 Rules of the Road

  • Advanced ticket purchase is required to minimize contact during payment and to help us arrange the cars and bicycles in accordance with Boulder County guidelines to meet the minimum distance required between attendees.

  • One bicycle ticket admits two bicycles and two riders. Bicycles must remain with owners at all times.

  • No RVs or vans are permitted.

  • One vehicle ticket admits one standard passenger car, truck or SUV, max car capacity is 5 people or the max capacity stated by the car manufacturer, whichever is less.

  • Parking is first come, first served with bicycle spaces in front, small to mid-sized cars in the middle and SUV in the back.

  • Drivers must comply with all rules of the road.

  • Audio will be transmitted through your vehicles FM Stereo. Please turn your key to accessory mode to keep your stereo on. Do not keep your car running during the concert.

  • No refund requests, transfers or exceptions will be granted (unless the event is canceled outright). This event is rain or shine.

  • This is an all-ages show, attendees younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
