Asti Park comes alive for the holidays! Join the Town of Superior for an enchanted evening in Asti Park. Make a gourmet s’more while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. Gather around the Town Tree and join us for holiday songs followed by the official Town Tree and Asti Park lighting at 5:30 pm by Mayor Clint Folsom. You will love the look and feel as our Town Tree lights up and the park sparkles! Don’t forget to stop by the Town’s Historical Museum to learn about Superior’s unique history.
NEW this YEAR – Delight in a complimentary horse drawn or hay wagon ride around Original Town as you make your way to see the lights at Grasso Park. Also new this year, make sure to stop by the Town tent to make an ornament for our tree and pick up your holiday scavenger hunt card. While on your hunt to find the "12 Magical Elves" you are sure to find some magical holiday fun! The evening is sure to be filled with wonderful holiday memories. Make sure to stop by and get a FREE photo with Santa! We can’t wait to see you!
Count the Lights on the Town Tree! After the Town Tree has been lit, children 18 and under will be invited to guess the number of lights on the tree – members of the Historical Commission and Superior Youth Leadership Council will be accepting guesses during the event. Guesses will also be accepted online from December 4 – December 18 at www.superiorrec.com. The winning submission(s) will be announced December 22. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive prize packs of gift cards from local Superior businesses. 1st place will receive $100, 2nd place, $75 and 3rd place, $50. Share-A-Gift - The Superior Youth Leadership Council will be collecting donations to benefit the local program, Share–A–Gift, an all-volunteer, secular annual holiday project that provides toys, books, and bicycles for children of low-income families in the area of Colorado’s Boulder Valley School District. Bring your toy and book donations to Count the Lights for the chance to be entered to win gift cards to Cinebarre, Old Chicago, and Chuck E Cheese!
Note: We are unable to collect bicycles due to limited storage but they can be donated directly to Share-A-Gift whose donation locations will be posted on their website shareagift.org.
