Please use extra caution when traveling through your neighborhood next week. Signs are known to get blown over. Give U-turns and workers plenty of room to minimize the chance of accidents. Please be mindful of workers, machinery, and observe all posted signs.
Work hours will be 7 AM – 5 PM however weather and other factors may affect the exact hours and duration of the paving.
Neighborhood meetings were held May 5, 11 & 12 to discuss this project. Additional information was provided at the neighborhood meetings, including construction schedules, school bus service, mail/trash service and special needs concerns. Please contact Alex Bullen with the Town of Superior to provide your contact information: name, street address, email and phone number, so that we can contact you directly with construction updates.
The Town appreciates your patience in advance while performing this project to continue its goal of investing in and maintaining the public infrastructure.
Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI)
- The Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at McCaslin Boulevard and US 36 is now open, with two lanes in each direction. There will be ongoing construction through mid-January so please be cautious driving through the construction zone. The DDI is a new way of navigating a highway interchange so please observe all traffic control devices, especially during your first few times in the interchange. For information on how to drive a DDI, view these animations on the CDOT website.
If you notice any issues with construction that was completed (concrete cracking, landscape repairs, irrigation repairs, etc.), please report it to Alex Bullen at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-656-6300. The Town has a two-year warranty on all completed work.
